I have made 2 cards this week, one I sewed a Christmas tree and the other was a birthday card for my aunt Pat, Ahhhhh, unfortunately I was slightly ill and was tired so I haven't mosaiced! OH MY, when I don't mosaic I can't stand it!!!!! I SIMPLY MUST MOSAIC, I have Christmas mosaics to do too! Okay, I'll get you those pics of my cards and then, I'll say goodnight! Ohhh, no, thats not the right one, I made it but it looked a bit on the modern side, so I remade it and liked it better, number two is the one I sent! the sewed one is not as dark as in the picture but you can see the design, I must get better at getting pictures! This one I scanned up on the printer and there is always a shadow on it! Ther it is! but, it also has a little bit of a shadow, well, you can see what I did the last few days anyways, as always, I hope that you have created something lately, you know, even if you have made someone smile, I think you have been creative! Did you make a good supper? YES! The other seeeeester!

This is the other seeeeeester checking in for a wednesday evening! Worked tonight on a Christmas card, I'm sewing a christmas tree in green thread and then I will sew on beads as ornaments tomorrow and then I can show you it! I am making a candle holder with stained glass and I'll show you a work in progress tomorrow as well, its very late and I am trying to deal with my insomnia tonight, and though, who can I talk to at this time of night? Well, my computer came to mind! Hope all who are reading this is well and happy, if not CALL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or at least email me!!!! I had a bad dream last night, there is someone whom is missing in my life that I need desperately to contact, but, how???? OH LORD, Please show me the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How how how??????? YAHOOOOOOOO! FINISHED MY PLATE

I am sooo happy tonight, I finished up my mosaiced stained glass plate today! I am pleased with the results, my partner says it really looks like a stained glass window when put in the window!! Here's the pictures. You know, I can barely wait to get the next project started! What will it be now? Hmmm, a vase, or a frame or another plate maybe, I can't wait till the day when I start my first picture of something on a wooden base, a realistic picture!! Soon, very, very, soon! You can see in the pictures the difference how it looks when put in the window, although its very hard to get a great picture of a mosaic, for instance there is a irridescent pinkish purpleish shine to the lower fan shaped flower in the right corner. Organizaton!

You know how if you had a spare room in your house, like a bedroom and you turned it into an arts and crafts room? Well, I live in a small apartment and the entire apartment is beginning to look like that room!! Ahhh whats a women to do? I tell my partner, I just HAVE to have this stuff in order to do my art, and I have to do my art in order to live!! I've had some pretty hard knocks, I guess you could say, the hardest! And I didn't know what I was going to do with myself, I don't want to get old and wonder if I could of done something, and now I have come to the certainty that what I have is ART, Ohhh, I don't know how far I would go with it, I just know I am more satisfied when I have created something. Its a way of expressing who I am.

At this point I don't know exactly what I am going to do with this blog, Its just a beginning, I don't know if I should be treating it as a personal diary, or something for others to read , or what?? Perhaps its just the beginning. A way to practice for a future website!! Who knows yet! If you are perhaps reading this, I hope that the personal stuff doesn't bore you too much, and I hope that you can enjoy looking at my pictures. I am going to try and find some more interesting gadgets to put on, I just know that my blog is going to be getting better soon as I find out more about it, WHATS IT ALL ABOUT?????

Half devil, half angel!!!!!!!

Yahooooo! I just glued the last blue piece of glass on my mosaic stained glass plate! Tomorrow I will grout it and then post the finished picture! Today I recieved some pictures from my niece Misty of her daughter on Halloween, its so darn cute I just have to put it on my blog, Here she is! Isn't she adorable!!!

What a costume, and aint it the truth!

What would YOU like to be on Hallowen? I always wished I could of been a ballarina so thats what I would be. Lets see, what do YOU want to be when you grow up? I always thought I would of been a good nurse, and now I also think, I should of been one of those people whe buy houses, fixes them up and then re-sells them, or an interior decorator, or a stager, staging houses for sale, I'd be good at those things, ahhhhh if only I had the energy! If only I was 10 years younger! I made some choices in my life that shouldn't have ever happened, but I am now trying to live a good life and be as good a person as I can be, and of course there is my art! And my family! How could I ever live without the understanding that I have recieved from them!!!! Soooooo, life goes on, does it not!!!

Okay, I have a question for all of you, how many of you are watching Jon and Kate plus 8? It is such a controvercial show! I personally love to watch them, I am getting to feeling like I know those people! And I love being around all of the kids, just wondered! Okay, to wind up the day, shall we have a few more pictures??? ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! AND AWAY WE GO.......... A few of my other beloved great niece both in 08 and 07! A few fish I painted, an altered letter L, Isn't that baby awesome? Its made out of that kind of sugar, marzipan or something like that , what they use to make flowers for wedding cakes! And lets see, I think I can come up with OOONNNEEE more! Okay? A Layout I did! I haven't made a layout in too long, that has just got to be my next project, If I don't do any paper arts for awhile I super duper start missing it! I HAVE TO DO MY ART, ITS MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! Hello again! I only had time to work a little on my plate today. Not too much happened today, it has been a quiet kind of day. So, I will put on some pictures now of some of my recent past! First though, since I just happen to have this I will put on the first picture I have of my art, I WAS 5 YEARS OLD! HAHA!

That was a long time ago! Lets see, it was, 46 years ago!! Funny the things we save isn't it? Let me go find a more recent one! Wouldn't want to bore anyone looking at my blog though but, like I said, its been a quiet day! A few mosaics, and my new computer, an altered CD, some of my mosaic frames, and lets see, maybe 2 more for today, that would be my mosaiced bowling ball! One of my favorites, and for the last and final addition for logging my art for today is a scrapbook page I did of my niece and my great niece!!! Okay! Now I want to go and see about adding on something fun to this blog!! I know there must be things I don't know about that will help to make it more interesting so I'm off and tomorrow I will be showing my progress on the microwave plate I have been working on!

The sound of cutting the background to my new mosaic! And ahhhhhh finished!!! Now, I only have to glue the background in and then grout, Want to see it so far, its still ungrouted remember, but here it is!

And a few more close ups! There we go! Now you know what I have been doing. Also, I made a Christmas card for my group, it was a challenge with all the people making cards for the same sketch! What I need to do now is start saving up for a really good camera so I can get really good pictures!! Oh alright, since I am going to be trying to keep track here of art I make, I guess I will put on the card I made, although the pictures are blurry, I would like to remember it just the same! Lets go get it! Hey, I was able to clear it up a bit using Jasc photo shop! I'm learning a few things, another of my projects is learning how to use my computer, can't wait till I can actually make a slideshow with words and music too! I know my computer can do it, I just have to learn how. I wish you a wonderful evening and maybe some clicks and clacks of your own!

Good morning America! I recieved this cutie in the mail from an exchange I did, here is also the return gift I made and sent! So, I would say we both had fun making these and both were happy to recieve our gifts also!!

I learned this iris folding technique. In this instance I used shiney paper to form a christmas ball. I need to practice with my camera so I can get better pictures !! Today, I think I will be cutting my glass, some of it, I have some beautiful oarnge, and I will be taking pictures of a project I am working on also which is a microwave plate that I covered with glass flowers and I am about to put the background on and then it will be ready for grouting, I'll try and get a good picture of it for my evening post! Remember, "HOME IS WHERE THE 'ART' IS"!!

Sunday evening, November 2nd, in the year two-thousand and eight!

Today, I went shopping at the vinery, the stained-glass store here. I needed some inspiration and where better to find some than with all that beautiful glass!! I haven't done a WIP in pictures befor and think I will keep a log of this next project. I have a vase I want to cover in glass!! Here I am with a plant pot I made last year, one of my first ones. And also one of my favorite.

I am also doing some papercraft arts lately and joined a great group of gals on the internet. So I will add a picture now of some ATC's that I made for a swap! For halloween I thought I would step out of my box a little to make these, It was fun to paint with acrylics again, its been awhile, I draw sometimes, and I just know that I am not spending enough time doing that! Okay, one more picture, since I am new at blogging, this being my first and I don't really know what it is I am doing yet, I may just try getting a feeling for it, and just sort of go day by day for the first few trys untill I hit apon the most interesting way to go about this! This is a drawing I did not to long ago, it is called "BELOVED", BY LOUELLA, done in pencil so it may show a little on the light side but I think we will be able to see it!

Okay then, that is my entry for today! I will be back and hopefully I will get that project off the ground tomorrow, ahhhhhhhh how exciting!

Day one, an artful event!

Hello! I am looking forward to this, my first blog! I think I will be starting with a place to keep track of all the artful things I do and make!! Most days I am either working on one or maybe more art pieces! And then, maybe I will also make it a place where my family and friends will join along with art of their own!
